Town of Braintree Reappraisal Update
Starting in the summer of 2009, the Town of Braintree began conducting an update of the town wide appraisal last completed in 2005.The increase in values as indicated from a 3 year history of property sales.This resulted in a decrease in the Common Level of Appraisal (CLA) and an increase in Coefficient of Dispersion (COD).Due to these changes in factors, the State of Vermont required Braintree to reassess the appraisal value of properties.The reappraisal has been completed and the changed values will be used in computing taxes for the 2010 – 2011 tax year.
