Travel Map for Braintree

Braintree is near the geographic center of Vermont and can be reached by taking Interstate 89 through Vermont.  Get off the Interstate at Exit 4 and go west to the town of Randolph.  Continue northwest past Randolph on Route 12A (not shown on map) by bearing right at the Randolph Fire House.  After approximately 2 miles you will see on the right the office as shown in the picture on the main page.  Driving beyond the Town Clerk's Office will take you deeper into Braintree.

Braintree is a town in the southwest corner of Orange County, a county in the middle of eastern Vermont.  From the mountain range on its southwest border, Braintree includes the 3023-foot peak of Braintree Mountain but consists mainly of the valley between, and the trailing hills of, the shorter mountain range to the east.  Bordering Braintree to the northeast and east in Orange County are the towns of Brookfield and Randolph, respectively.  To the north in Washington County is the town of Roxbury and to the west in Addison County is the town of Granville.  Finally, to the south in Windsor County is the town of Rochester.
