The Braintree Conservation Commission was established by the Selectboard in 2013 with the mission of working to maintain the rural character of Braintree by conserving and enhancing natural and cultural resources within the community.
The Commission meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Braintree Town Clerk’s Office. The public is welcome to attend.
Our Conservation Commission is joining with Randolph’s in sponsoring a slide show and talk on vernal pools on April 24. This event will replace our regular April meeting.
The next meeting of the Conservation Commission will be May 22.

The Commission will be sending out newsletters over the summer months. In these mailings, we hope to provide information on events the Commission is planning, advice on tackling invasive species, town policies regarding conservation issues, recreational opportunities, and lots of photographs of Braintree’s natural beauty.
